SINGAPORE, Singapore – 23 AUGUST, 2022 – Stemly, a state-of-the-art decision intelligence platform that delivers AI/ML-powered autonomous forecasting and optimization for interconnected decisions in supply chain and finance, has successfully undergone an audit process and today announced its successful attainment of the System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 1 certification.
The audit is informed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA) Trust Service Criteria and is considered among the industry’s best practices in data security. Conducted by independent auditors, Stemly’s company policies and procedures for data handling were thoroughly reviewed through tests on the organization’s security and emergency controls, and employee interviews.
With more businesses outsourcing their key functions, it is increasingly imperative for cloud-based solutions to be secure with stringent data security to prevent leakage of clients’ highly sensitive business data. Stemly’s attainment of this certificate, along with our internationally recognized data management ISO 27001 certification, attests to the security, availability, and processing integrity of the systems Stemly uses to process its clients’ data, and the confidentiality and privacy of clients’ information processed by these systems.
“Obtaining the SOC 2 Type I certification emphasizes Stemly’s commitment to protecting our client’s data by upholding our data security systems to global security standards,” said Sanjay Saini, CEO and co-founder of Stemly. “Our clients and partners can grow in security and confidence as we continue to invest and maintain the highest levels of security and compliance.”
